Dr. Lamont Jacobs earned his Bachelor's degree from Ohio State University, where he graduated with an Orthodontic degree in 1988. He went on to become a leading provider for clear aligners, achieving Elite Provider status in 2010 and Platinum Provider status in 2018. He has been in orthodontic practice for over 25 years and has attained the highest clinical training and experience with the clear aligner system.
Dr. Jacobs has been recognized by Cincinnati Magazine as one of the Top Orthodontists in the Cincinnati area for the 10th year in a row, as voted on by his peers.
He is an active member of the dental community. He is a past president and current treasurer of the Keely Dental Society, an organization dedicated to providing dental care to underprivileged children.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Jacobs is a man of many interests. He is an avid soccer player, skier, and snowboarder. His love for these sports dates back to his college days when he was the co-captain of the OSU ski team in '84 and '85. He still enjoys playing soccer at least twice a week and competes against the varsity soccer team at the annual alumni game.
Dr. Jacobs is deeply committed to his community. Alongside his wife, Jane, he has been rehabbing homes in Hamilton, demonstrating his dedication to improving the area and the lives of its residents.
An accomplished woodworker, Dr. Jacobs has had some of his furniture exhibited at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts. Patients at his practice can appreciate his craftsmanship firsthand, with beautiful carvings displayed above each chair.

Fairfield & Oxford Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists in Fairfield and Oxford and is the top alternative to traditional braces. Instead of brackets and bands, the aligner system uses a series of clear, removable trays to gradually straighten your teeth.
Our aligners are made of comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over your teeth. To keep your teeth moving in the desired direction, you’ll need to switch your aligners out for the next one in the series every one to two weeks, as directed by Dr. Skabelund.
The clear aligner system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20 – 22 hours per day throughout the treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and add time to the orthodontic process.
